That’s right. You can commission your very own building portrait. Maybe it’s your house or somewhere you once lived. Or maybe it’s just a building you really like. I can make any building part of your personal collection. Contact me about your building portrait.
Building portraits are made on 6in x 9in archival paper and cost $700.
To recap:
- $700 (starting, larger sizes cost more)
- 6in x 9in (great in an 11in x 14in frame)
- Acrylic and pen on archival paper. 100% hand-made.
The process:
- They start with a photo. If you happen to live in the Boston area, I can get a photo. Google Streetview can work for some buildings. Photos need to be head-on and 3/4 view and include the entire building.
- I’ll send you an in-process photo once the drawing is complete so you have an idea of what it will look like and can let me know if I missed any important details. Additional progress shots will be shared along the way.
- I’ll email you once it’s finished. Mailing costs are in addition to the commission.
- I’m booked about two months out.
Payment:
I accept Venmo, paypal, cash. check…
What if I don’t want a work on paper, but I want a piece on panal like that amazing Barbican painting?
- No worries! We can make that happen. They take a lot longer to make but are a lot more fun. Pricing will start at around $3,500 for a 16x20.
